Well known for introducing Peruvian cuisine to Australia’s food culture, Alejandro is also a passionate ambassador and trusted spokesperson for Victoria’s regional produce, championing its farmers, growers, and makers. His extensive travels across Latin America have deepened his understanding of local food traditions, influencing his signature approach to storytelling through cuisine.
As the visionary behind Farmer’s Daughters and Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters, Alejandro brings a true farm-to-table experience to the heart of Melbourne. In 2024, he expanded his impact with Morena, an elevated Latin American restaurant in Sydney’s historic GPO. Building on its success, he opened sister restaurants Morena and Barra in Melbourne, further showcasing the rich and diverse culinary traditions of Latin America. His expertise has also been showcased at the Australian Open AO Chef Series and MCC Long Room at the MCG.
